The Evangelism Ministry principle function is to work together in love helping the congregation fulfill the great commission of saving souls and helping souls stay saved. This is the main work of the Church (Mt. 28:19-20; Mk. 16:15-16). The ministry’s mission is to lead the congregation in carrying out the great commission that Jesus gave to us that is saving souls and helping souls stay saved. The overall goal of the Evangelism Ministry is to teach and train members to teach one-on-one Bible studies and help the lost be saved and to follow up with all members that are baptized until they become mature Christians.
The Education Ministry principle function is to work together in love helping the congregation fulfill its mission of saving souls and helping souls stay saved by planning, organizing and teaching class and workshops that will educate and equip the membership to live Godly lives and be more productive in the Church, home and community. It is designed to teach and educate all members of the congregation in the word of God so that they can live separate lives from the world and be equipped to teach and lead others to Christ (Timothy 2:2). The overall goal of the Education Ministry is to teach and train members to conduct Bible school classes. We desire to have all members receive a working knowledge of the Bible so that they can live the best Christian lives possible and be able to give a Biblical answer to every man that asks why we believe what we believe.
The principle function of the Benevolence Ministry is to collect and distribute food, clothes, furniture and other items that will assist the needy, help care for the sick and oversee funeral repast services. It is a must for this ministry to work together in love with all Church workers. The overall goal of the Benevolence Ministry is to help the needy with physical needs and to show love, care and concern in times of need; also, to encourage members of the Church to remain faithful and strive to bring non-members into a saved relationship with Jesus Christ.
The principle function of the Youth Ministry is to work together in love providing spiritual, social and physical activities for all of the youth of the congregation, helping them to help fulfill the mission of the Church, saving souls and helping stay saved. This ministry strives to provide activities that will educate motivate and encourage all youth and their families to grow in their relationship to Christ and at the same time have fun doing it. The overall goal of the Youth Ministry is to provide programs and activities that will involve every youth of the congregation. It is our desire to assist parents in every way possible to help their children grow up to be spiritually productive young people in the Church and in the world in which they live.
The principle function of the Prison Ministry is to minister to members of the Church, the non-members and their families who are incarcerated; also, help ex-offenders and their families in any way possible. The overall goal of the Prison Ministry is to help members of the congregation and their families who are incarcerated in any way possible. We will strive to encourage the incarcerated to keep the faith, trust God and do the right thing. We will assist families with prayer, Bible studies and help with physical needs as much as possible.
